Wildlife Emergency Response Network

The Snoop and Love Community Foundation is working to strengthen and support the community’s wildlife emergency response network. Locals and visitors commonly encounter injured wildlife. We want to improve public knowledge and provide resources and training for volunteers engaged in primary care and transport of injured wildlife.

Drive the Sea to Sky? You can join the phone tree of volunteer drivers who help speed the transfer of injured wildlife to the nearest designated wildlife rehabilitation center.

The committee aims to work closely with existing wildlife and animal welfare advocacy groups in the local community, such as AWARE, Whistler Wildlife Protection Group, WAG and BearSmart.
